My husband and I moved to Cincinnati from Minneapolis in late 2019 and sent our daughter to private school while we looked for a home. We were big advocates of public schools, so when we finally found our home in Indian Hill, we moved our daughter to Indian Hill Schools at our earliest opportunity. She flourished as a result, graduated in 2025, and none of us have ever regretted our decision.
To me, being a Brave means a sense of curiosity and a strong work ethic. That’s what I see in the IH students, teachers, and administrators I know.
The best school districts don’t sit still—they iterate and look ahead and prepare their students to meet the needs of the future. This is what the IH Promise articulates to me—our district’s willingness to look ahead, see the needs of the future, and take steps to ensure our children are prepared to meet them.
I became president of the Indian Hill Foundation in August of 2025. I was attracted to the Foundation because it funds the ideas around the edges—the innovative idea a teacher may have to help their students understand a difficult concept, Braves Helping Braves, that supports those who need a hand, and the Braves Opportunity Scholarship that offers a college experience to a student that might not otherwise be able to attend. Those who donate to these and other scholarships we have under stewardship inspire me. I believe they reflect the best of Indian Hill.
Finally, I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t mention that the Foundation is always looking for new partners to financially support new, innovative ideas in our District! If you are interested, don’t hesitate to reach out!
